OfficeMax and Lyreco
Announce Global Alliance
On October 6, 2008, OfficeMax and Lyreco announced their alliance.  Lyreco, a European privately-owned leader in business-to-business office products solutions, is best known for its focus on customer service and distribution excellence. By combining the contract operations and infrastructure of OfficeMax and Lyreco, the two companies now have a geographical reach of 36 countries. Said Sam Duncan, OfficeMax Chairman and CEO, “Lyreco has always been a leader in Europe, and this partnership will improve the OfficeMax service offering for our large international customers.”
