Awards
Corporate United presented its suppliers and
members with annual awards at SYNERGY 2009.
2009 Supplier Awards
The 2009 Corporate United Supplier of
the Year award went to Konica Minolta
Business Solutions. The Supplier of the Year
Award is given to the vendor who ranks
highest in overall member satisfaction based
on a survey of Corporate United member
companies. The survey, which reviews 18
Corporate United category agreements, allows

its members to rate suppliers based on
account management, pricing, level of
quality, breadth of offerings and overall
satisfaction.
New in 2009, Corporate
United also presented an award to Weichert
Relocations Resources, Inc. for outstanding
growth. Additionally, individual awards were
given to outstanding supplier
representatives Jerome Gerber of Volt
Workforce Solutions and Bill Bostwick of
OfficeMax.
2009 Member Awards
Corporate United honored two members
this year – Pentair, Inc. for excellence in
advocacy and Progressive Insurance for
excellence in participation. These two
companies exemplify a solid commitment to
the Corporate United membership.
The success of Corporate
United is based upon taking advantage of our
potential for massive leverage. Pentair,
Inc. has gone to great lengths to realize
that potential by participating on
exploratory, sourcing, and supplier
management committees.
Interaction among members is
a major part of the Corporate United value
proposition. Progressive Insurance is a
mainstay on the message board and at events,
and acts as a referral to members,
prospective members and suppliers.
