Corporate United’s industrial supplies vendor, Fastenal, is one of nine profiled companies in Keith McFarland’s book, The Breakthrough Company: How Everyday Companies Become Extraordinary Performers, published by Crown Business. After studying 7,000 companies over five years and interviewing more than 1,500 growth company executives, McFarland chose to focus on Fastenal and eight other companies to show how “everyday companies” push past barriers to achieve unfolding growth and continued success.
