On the Message Board…

Q.  Could someone recommend a national recycling entity that recycles plastic shrink wrap, cardboard, banding straps and other shipping materials?

R.  We use a company named Greenpak out of Parkersburg, West Virginia for packing materials recycling. We started this in 2006. I do not have any direct awareness of how the program works but if you need further information, please give me a call and I will direct you to our internal program owner.

R. Fiber collection would be Weyerhaeuser, and Antek Madison Plastics Recycling Corp handles plastics. If, however, you are looking for a supplier to help you create a recycling system in your organization, I know of a great company whose information I would be willing to pass along.
