Corporate United Announces
Four Category Renegotiations
Corporate United has worked diligently over the past quarter to create new agreements with select suppliers. The decision to renegotiate agreements with CentiMark, Grand & Toy, InterCall and Mayflower and United Van Lines was based upon solicitation of member feedback, a comprehensive analysis to help deliver a "best-in-class" offering and leveraging our competitive market data to benchmark against others.

Roofing Agreement
with CentiMark
Corporate United is offering a newly enhanced roofing option geared towards members who are looking for more comprehensive roofing project management support. This new roofing program "upgrade" option includes more benefits and features than the basic agreement through Corporate United, such as:

  • Greater budget transparency through competitive market analysis and contractor comparison breakdowns

  • A more comprehensive online tool to manage the status of all roof conditions

  • Inspections, bids, and warranties across member locations

  • Dedicated implementation support to ensure that all member locations achieve the program benefits.

Furthermore, Corporate United members who choose to commit to this new program will achieve preferred status with CentiMark, which allows them to take advantage of additional pricing discounts and more flexible payment terms. We invite you to learn more about this new program option as your capital roofing projects commence in 2010.

Canadian Office Products Agreement with
Grand & Toy
Corporate United has entered into a new Canadian office products agreement with Grand & Toy, a wholly owned subsidiary of OfficeMax Incorporated and a leading single-source office solutions provider, offering strategic office procurement to Canadian businesses. The agreement includes office supplies, products and services in technology, business imaging, business interiors and facilities supplies.

Corporate United members on the contract have access to the following benefits:

A negotiated core list of 600 items comprised of those items frequently purchased by members (reviewed annually to add or remove high or low purchased items)

  • Discounts off of manufacturer list price up to 55%

  • National distribution through seven distribution centers and over 30 retail locations throughout Canada

  • Program reviews at 30/60/90 days, and ongoing business reviews with your account manager including recommendations for efficiency and sustainability

Corporate United members receive a group volume incentive, as well as preferred pricing that reflects the spend volume of the Corporate United membership. As with all our suppliers, Corporate United will work with Grand & Toy to ensure adherence to terms and conditions of the agreement and pricing and service level accuracy.

Conferencing Agreement
with InterCall
The new audio, video and web conferencing agreement with InterCall offers Corporate United members market-leading pricing, an impressive specialty product list, and some of the best service levels in the industry.

Along with negotiating more aggressive pricing, Corporate United worked with InterCall to add new products and services to the contract. New products include:

  • Unified Meeting Tools: a collection of services including Connect2Meeting, mobile assistant, Outlook® integration, and office communicator integration among others

  • MeetingSense: a hosted solution that empowers organizations to easily capture, automatically distribute, and collaboratively manage meeting information and action items online in real-time

  • Huddle: a secure online workspace for storing and transferring documents, communication and presentations

Through the Corporate United agreement, InterCall guarantees a billing service level of 97% accuracy on all invoicing. The contract now includes an additional discount tier that will further improve the group discount. In addition to the already-superior pricing, the contract features a price review clause; InterCall will review your purchase volume annually and adjust tiered volume pricing to reflect it accordingly.

With these and other impressive service level agreements, and with our leveraged position in the market, our InterCall agreement represents a great opportunity for all members.

Commercial Moves Agreement with Mayflower and United Van Lines
Corporate United is pleased to announce it has entered into a new commercial moves agreement with United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit, two of the largest van lines in the world. United Van Lines/Mayflower Transit and Corporate United worked diligently to deliver cost reduction solutions throughout the re-negotiated agreement, which will provide an enhanced group rebate incentive and improved service level commitments to our members.

As a new component of this agreement, Corporate United has expanded its commercial moves offering to include a global program through Unigroup Worldwide. Founded in 1987, Unigroup is the parent company of United Van Lines, Mayflower Transit and other subsidiaries which support worldwide operations of three leading transportation companies. The new global program will provide Corporate United members:

  • The world’s largest service partner network

  • Global service network with 24/7 customer service

  • Real time reporting and shipment tracking

  • Price predictability through door to door fixed term pricing

  • Guaranteed transit time
