Message Board Survey Results
Corporate United conducted a brief online survey among its message board users in the fourth quarter of 2008. The purpose of the survey was to learn more about our member’s needs and interests so we can continue to maintain the message board at the highest level.
We asked users what they felt was beneficial about the message board and were provided the following responses: learning, sharing, networking, information gathering, Q&A, best practices and to increase awareness of what others are doing.
They survey also revealed 78% of message board participants have utilized an answer and/or recommendation provided by another respondent on the message board.
Because of the results this message board survey, the new iteration of the message board is now fully searchable by keyword. Also, all questions from the membership are grouped in one section, so you no longer have to decide if your question is best categorized as “Best Practices” or “Contract Management,” for example. The message board still has a separate forum for job postings, which is now more relevant than ever.
